Our team has considerable experience with anti-stain technology. The technology uses easily available and economical ceramic nanoparticles. These nanoparticles are essentially nano-chemical reactors that can be functionalized in various ways to meet specific requirements. Compared to an Untreated Masonry Substrate
This movie demonstrates the capability of our coating as compared to an untreated masonry surface, against a variety of staining agents.
Compared to a Standard Flat Latex Paint
The next two movies demonstrate the capability of our coating as compared to a surface painted with a commercially available flat latex paint, against a variety of staining agents. The following process was used to prepare and conduct the test:
- Two coats of a standard primer followed by two coats of the latex paint, applied by roller;
- One coat of our coating, also applied by roller;
- Seven days drying time;
- Application of the following contaminants: crayon, lipstick, pencil, grease scum and mustard; and
- Three hours of drying time before the contaminants were cleaned.
